ReSource Deconstruction Services
Deconstruction is the systematic dismantling of part or all of a residential or commercial building. This process has vast environmental, economic, and social benefits.
ReSource offers deconstruction assessments for all your renovation projects along the Front Range. Each assessment includes:
- One-on-one deconstruction education,
- On-site visit and assessment,
- Deconstruction plan (if applicable),
- Itemized material inventory list,
- Tax-deduction information, and
- Qualified deconstruction contractor referral.
Additionally, these services are necessary to fulfill the deconstruction programs of City of Boulder Green Points C&D Material Diversion and Boulder County BuildSmart Material Diversion programs.
The donations of reusable building materials to ReSource via deconstruction are tax deductible contributions that may offset costs of your entire project.

The Skinny on Deconstruction
Deconstruction is the systematic dismantling of part or all of a building. Instead of the entire structure going to a landfill, reusable and recyclable materials are removed first. In addition to significantly reducing waste, if you donate the salvaged materials to a non-profit like ReSource, your tax deduction will offset the cost making the process comparable to the cost of demolition.
